The end bar (6), for a roller shutter (2) or roller door and the like, is a profiled bar (7) extending laterally across the final slat (3). It is mounted to final roller shutter/door slat by a swing holder (8) to give it a rocker action. When the roller shutter/door is wound into the fully open position, the end bar covers the entry slit (9) into the rolled shutter box (10). When the shutter/door is fully extended, the end bar has a self-alignment on the ground surface.
