The ladder for use at a boat, and especially an inflatable, has a clip in two sections (1,2) which pass over the side (9) of the inflatable to hang down into the water below the water line (97). The ladder has folding sections (5,6,8) to fold together with the clip structure, on hinges (4) between them. The clip section has two side bars (11), with rungs between them. The inner surfaces of the clip section have a rubber cladding to prevent slipping on the inflatable boat surface.
