The crusher (10') has a fixed jaw (12) attached to the attached to the housing of the machine (11) and a movable jaw (13) connected to an eccentric drive system (37). This may have separate eccentrics driving the to and bottom of the moving jaw, or a single shaft (40) with multiple eccentrics at the top. The eccentric at the center of the shaft (34) moves the top end of the movable jaw. Eccentrics at the ends of the shaft (36) have a phase angle different to that of the center eccentric and drive a frame whose bottom end is connected to a knee linkage (43) which moves the bottom end of the jaw.
