The fully automatic stageless tooth- or roller chain gear involves a chain with four co-running cone points with variable angle and provided with round groove guide system. The chain is provided with a side member, which is matched to the cone angle. The chain is not limitedly loadable in relation to the motorization power. The chain guide cone guides the chain and provides for optimal chain circulation. A synchronous toothed rod-gear wheel balances the chain spacings by adjustment of the chain gearwheels. The gear functions in a closed manner and has permanent lubrication.
