This deficiency is remedied by the track guidance system according to the invention, which is characterized in that the devices - locating device (3) the guide variable (8) in the region of engagement of the working device (2) and locates on the machines guidance system (4) for optimum utilization of the working device (2) can act in a corrective manner. As a result of this solution proposed according to the invention, an approximate optimum utilization of the working device (2) also in the case of a processing of a guide variable (8) along a hill or along a longer curve is achieved.
