The automobile door (1) has a door body panel (2) and a window frame (3), a door cladding panel (7) attached to the inside of the door body panel via clip fittings (6,9). An electrical plug-in connector at the center of the door body panel connects electrical lines or function units incorporated in the latter with electrical lines or function units incorporated in the door cladding panel.
