Plant cell cultivation reactor receives pulsed supply of oxygen from liquid/gas bioreactor linked to a liquid/sold bioreactor

In a process to improve the supply of oxygen to a hollow fibre bioreactor, the oxygen is especially supplied via a pulse-operated liquid/gas bioreactor (2) linked to a liquid/sold bioreactor (1) with a pulse rate of 1-6 cycles per second. An Independent claim is also included for an assembly whose component parts (1 and 2) are fed by a nutritional supply circuit (8) from a reservoir (9), and a coupled resonant oscillation generator system (4) with a sterile interface (5). The bioreactors (1, 2) have hollow fibres with different pore size in the range 0.1 microm (1) to 0.001 microm (2). The nutrition is delivered by a pulse generator membrane pump.
