A valve-actuating device is described in Patent DE 10206571.3. In this patent of addition, a pressure plate (79, 87) arranged on the valves (7, 8) in a group simultaneously actuates more than one of the valves. More than one valve spring (80) acts on the valve shafts (7.2, 8.2). Preferred Features: All the inlet valves and all the outlet valves are each connected with parallel central longitudinal axes. In the case of camshaft control on one cylinder all valves are actuated by a cam (13, 15).
