The blind end of the horn has a curved or hemispherical profile. It accommodates a high-frequency loudspeaker (tweeter) adjacent to a low-frequency loudspeaker (woofer). The horn may be 950 mm long, 365 mm broad and has a 60 mm cross-section at the loudspeakers tapering to 140 mm near the bell and 440 mm at the mouth of the bell. The wall of the horn may have a 2,5 mm thick linoleum surface layer and a sandwich of two layers of 2 mm thick felted paper, a 5 mm thick later of cement chips with 5x8 mm wooden beams.
