Moisture measuring instrument for determination of the moisture content of a medium which acts as the dielectric of a capacitive probe (1). Said instrument has measurement lines (2a, 2b) through which a pulsed signal is injected into the medium being investigated. A reflected signal is captured and the time of flight determined by analysis electronics (3) that incorporate a temperature compensation device.
