Fuel injection device for IC engine with spark ignition with fuel injected against wall of mixing/deflection channel and mixed with compressed air, to brake fuel jet and mix fuel and air

The fuel is sprayed against the wall of a mixing and deflection channel (1), which opens directly into the combustion chamber. It is then deflected and ejected by compressed air supplied by an air channel (2). This causes deceleration of the fuel jet and intensive swirling of fuel and injected compressed air. Fuel and compressed air are blown together against the channel wall and have a common impact point (3) within a recess (4). Dependent upon operational condition of the engine, there may be a switch-over to a different air jet and a second on may be added, to deflect the fuel-air mixture into a different direction.
