The distribution device for individual support elements of motor vehicle bodies comprises a transporting unit (1) with two parallel rows of motorized rollers rotating in opposite directions. The transporting unit is mounted on transverse guide rails (4) and connected to a cylinder (41) which enables a sideways movement between a feed position and an out of service position. In the feed position one row (2) of rollers lies opposite a support element testing station while another row (3) of rollers lies opposite an out of service station. In the out of service position the first row of roller lies opposite the testing station and receives the unsuitable support elements from the testing station.
