The crimping sleeve has an essentially sack-shaped cross-section prior to deformation with an insertion opening for the lines in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the connector and the contact region is essentially elliptical. AN Independent claim is also included for a crimping tool for making a crimped connection with an inventive device.
