A worm gearing disposed in a cavity formed in a distributor roller (101), has an externally toothed worm to which a worm wheel (103) is meshed. The worm and worm wheel rotate about the wheel axles (112,113). Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) an inking unit; and (b) a printing press.
