The split flywheel torsion vibration damper comprises two structural elements (2,3) opposing the resistance of an energy accumulator device (6). In order to reduce as much as possible the friction produced between the energy accumulator and the wall it is in contact with, the accumulator device comprises an energy accumulator, which is held by a support device coupled to the energy accumulator in a constant radial gap relative to the rotational axis of the flywheel. The support extends radially outwards from the energy accumulator and has a rectangular section.
