The rocker (10) for an electrical installation unit has a light reflecting coating. A light conductor (1) gives illumination from the rear side (4), and the upper side (3) forms the light conductor field. The large-surface light conductor is placed centrally, in relation to the rocker surface area, with rocker function elements injection molded around it. The rocker operating surfaces (11,12) and the side linking webs (13) between them act as the rocker function elements, in a frame around the light conductor.
