Composition for selective weed control in herbicide-tolerant crops comprises: (1) a 1-(4,6-dimethoxy-2-pyrimidinyl)-3-(3-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)-2-pyridyl sulfonyl)-urea salt (I); and (2) a compound (II) selected from: (a) molinate; (b) diclosulam; (c) flufenpyr and its ethyl ester; (d) mesosulfuron and its methyl ester; (e) benzobicyclon; (f) oxaziclomefone; (g) profoxydim; (h) pyrazogyl; and (i) indanofan. Composition for selective weed control in herbicide-tolerant crops comprises a 1-(4,6-dimethoxy-2-pyrimidinyl)-3-(3-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)-2-pyridyl sulfonyl)-urea salt of formula (I) and a compound (II) selected from (a) - (i). M = alkali metal or alkaline earth metal; n = 1 or 2; r, s = 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 or 3; L = ethyl acetate, acetonitrile, dimethyl sulfoxide, dimethylformamide, dimethylacetamide, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, acetone, butanone, methylene chloride, trichloromethane, trichloroethane, tetrahydrofuran, diethyl ether, 1,2-dimethoxyethane, dioxane, methyl t-butyl ether, chlorobenzene, toluene or xylene. An Independent claim is also included for a method of controlling unwanted plant growth in herbicide-tolerant crops, comprising applying a composition containing (I) and (II) to the crop plants or their habitat.
