The assembly has a seat back (14) having latches (32,33) on its both sides operable between a latched and an unlatched position. A mechanism (50) movable between a locked and an unlocked state is connected to both the latches. When one of the latches is in unlatched position the mechanism is prevented from moving to unlocked state. The mechanism moves to locked state when both the latches are in the latched state.
