Process for recovering industrial water, especially in plants producing non-woven fabric, comprises carrying out flotation and filtering within the same process plant which is under pressure. An Independent claim is also included for a device for recovering industrial water, especially in plants producing non-woven fabric comprising a preparation unit for treating the effluent to obtain a regenerated liquid which can be recycled back into the production cycle. The preparation unit has a pressure vessel (7) delimited by a flotation region (8) and a region (9) for filtering the effluent. Preferred Features: A part of the regenerated liquid (11) is subjected to a pressure treatment stage which is connected to a flotation stage. During flotation and filtration of the effluent, air mixed with the effluent or collected in the plant is removed as far as necessary.
