The arrangement includes a thermally biased electro-active bending actuation element (24) which moves between first and second positions as a function of an instruction signal. A valve operation system (21) is coupled to the bending actuation element and the motor valve (34). The motor valve is operated as a function of the valve operation system and the bending actuation element moves between the first and second positions. Independent claims are also provided for two methods for operating the motor valves.
