A person occupying the space and requiring the service possesses an information unit (3a) which exchanges information with an active device (2) within the space via an electromagnetic path, or stores information received from the active device, as soon as the door to the space is closed, and the service is accepted. The information unit may store the received information for a limited time. The active device may be arranged so that it is as equidistant as possible from the space boundaries, but mounted on one of the boundary surfaces.
