Rotary bearing unit has brake hose extended by compressed air to exert force on brake block(s) via axially movable shift ring to transfer braking torque between first and second bearing parts
The unit has a pneumatic braking device with two parts designed to rotate relatively together and can be activated by compressed air via a compressed air feed line. The braking device has a brake hose embedded in a bearing shell in the first bearing part. The brake hose extends when subjected to compressed air and exerts a force on at least one brake block via an axially movable shift ring to transfer a braking torque between the bearing parts. The unit has a pneumatic braking device (21) with first and second bearing parts (22,23) designed to rotate relatively together, whereby the braking device can be activated by compressed air via a compressed air feed line (10). The braking device has a brake hose (1) embedded in a bearing shell (4) in the first bearing part, whereby the brake hose extends when subjected to compressed air with a movement towards a free side (16) and exerts a force on at least one brake block (6) via an axially movable shift ring (2) to transfer a braking torque between the first and second bearing parts.
