Air-inflated structure comprises a first inner skin (3) fixed to an outer skin (2). The inner skin is formed by a number of first strips (4) having longitudinal edges (5) lying tightly on and fixed to the outer skin to form a number of first air chambers (6). A second inner skin (14) arranged on the inner side of the first inner skin is connected to the outer and/or first inner skin to produce a number of second air chambers (15) between the two inner skins. Preferred Features: The second air chambers are filled with CO2 which has a lower thermal conductivity than air. The first and the second inner skins are made of an extensively gas-tight material.
