Gymnastic bar comprises a rigid body with end-side terminal rings, but instead of these rings it can have knob rings (5) of a soft-elastic material arranged coaxially so that the knobs (14) can at least slightly radially extend from the bar surface (2). The knob rings are of the known pearl ring (5) type. Four or more knob rings are arranged centrally next to each other on the bar. The dome-shaped rounded end face sides of the bar are provided axially and centrally with a soft elastic location (4). The knob rings fit elastically into ring grooves (6). The body (1) of the bar is slightly double conical, i.e. it narrows slightly from the center to the ends, so that in the center it has a diameter of approximately 30 mm and at both ends approximately 25 mm. It has a suspension loop at one end.
