A premanifold with a sprue (1) feeding hot runners (4,4',7,7') is clamped to separate main manifolds (10,10',11,11',12,12') with hot runner channels (3,5). The distances between the sprue and the hot runners of each main manifold are different. In order to compensate for the different flow distances the cross-sections and lengths of the hot runners in the premanifold and/or the hot runners (3,5) in the main manifolds are rheologically adapted to ensure balanced flow between premanifold and each main manifold.
