The crane has a first jib (4) rotatable around a first vertical axis, and a first lifting gear (7) which has lifting equipment (12) running off from the first jib. A second jib (14) is mounted on the first jib to pivot around a second vertical axis and is equipped with a second lifting gear (7a) which has lifting equipment (19) running off from the second jib. The first and second jibs can be operated independently of each other. The second jib is installed on a travelling crab (6) running on the first jib.
