The telescopic jib for a motor crane has an extendable connecting section (2) connected to the revolving structure of the crane, several extendable telescopic sections (3-8), and a jib extension (17) fastened to one of other sections via an adaptor piece (11). The adaptor piece is fastened on a center telescopic section provided between an innermost telescopic section and the connecting section. The adaptor piece is fastened on a collar (10) on the corresponding telescopic section, whereby preferably all the telescopic connecting points (12) of the adaptor piece lie in a common plane.
