The fastening device for tubular elements has a bush fitted in one end of the tubular element (1), and a circumferentially extending slot (4) in the inner wall (2) of the tubular element in the vicinity of the tube end (3). The bush on one end face facing the tube end has a collar which is deformable in the axial and radial directions. Through the deformation of the collar the bush is caulked in the slot. An independent claim is included for a device for the fitting of a bush with a threaded bore into a tubular element, especially to create a fastening device.
