The crossing bridge for ramps has a bridge plate (1) hinge-mounted on the ramp (2), with the hinge point for the mounting of the bridge plate formed by a bearing shell installed on the ramp and in which is mounted a pivot connected to the bridge plate. The bearing shell encompasses only a part of the circumference of the pivot in a way which the pivot is free of the bearing shell on a circumferential section which lies above and on the side facing away from the ramp. The traffic surface of the bridge plate lies in a plane tangential to the pivot.
