The transport module system consists of a transporting container for the modules and carrying handle with a grip. Glass fiber reinforced plastic is used as the standard material for containers, carrying handle and grip. The external form of the carrying handle forms in cross section the shape of an equilateral octagon. The container provides space for standard drinks cans or bottles and also optional modules for UMTS, standard telecommunications, multimedia or DV modules. The container provides space for optional modules such as power supply means such as batteries.
