The seat cover (1) is made of a rectangular textile sheet of a strong, easy to clean material and is provided with several straps (2, 3) around the edge to be attached to the seat of a vehicle. A row of loops (4) positioned along the sides of the sheet (1) can be used for the insertion of fixing straps to be guided across the body of an unconscious or severely handicapped person in order to keep him/her in a safe position during the drive to the hospital or to a surgery in order to receive a particular treatment.
