A formed element (6) is fitted on the cap in the region of the connection to the container and after release of the cap from the container remains on it. The formed element is constructed as a ring and the circumferential contour of the element conforms to the cross-sectional shape of the container. The formed element is constructed in one piece with the cap and at least one design break point (8) is located between the formed element and cap.
