Pool (1) is divided by a separating wall (7) into at least one first region, e.g. a swimming region (2'), and a second region used as a cleaning region (2'') and provided with at least one layer of at least one particulate filter material. The first and second regions have water outlet and suction openings (13, 14, 25) for a closed water circulation through the first region and through the filter medium of the second region. At least one water outlet opening is provided on the base of the first region and at least one water suction opening is provided preferably on the base of the second region. Independent claims are also included for an alternative pool and for a separating wall module (8) for a separating wall used in the above pool. Preferred Features: The separating wall is formed by several separating wall modules joined together. The modules are angled parts and consist of a wall section (9) and at least a first arm (10) extending from a lower edge of the wall section into the second region. The separating wall modules are made of a flat material, e.g. high quality steel.
