The monitored values or parameters of the patient are displayed in a way which is clear to analyse and which can be seen from a distance. The vital parameters of the patient provide information on the condition of the heart rate, breathing rate, pulse rate, oxygen saturation and systolic and diastolic blood pressure. The information is shown on a screen via an interface, which enables interaction by the patient using a mouse etc. The image can also be phased out so that the normal computer desk top is visible.
