The miniaturized life-saving apparatus for water sport comprises a buoyancy body (6) integrated in an arm band with a rapid closure and worn on the body/wrist. Pneumatically with the aid of an exchangeable normal compressed air cartridge (5) a signal colored, closely folded or shrunken floating body is selectively unfolded, expanded and inflated. This process, instead of using compressed air, can also be achieved by a chemical reaction. Release can occur manually or automatically by means of a pressure releaser (7). The arm band (1) used is elastic, water-proof and non-expandable. A closure or opening flap (2) is provided and a rapid closure (3) permits fixture to the arm. A protective flap (4) with a rapid closure can open automatically by activation pressure. A securing flap (8) prevents undesired activation.
