A support frame for a fitness training system has a framework assembled onto a ground support plate and stabilised by edge segments. The frame sections of the system are provided with arrays of holes to support the various accessories. The frame can be assembled inside a room and can be left in place without impeding access, i. e. with the accessories removed. Alternately the frame can be folded and stored flat against a wall.
