The bar (1) is accommodated inside a housing (2) and can be rolled into position on castors attached to its lower side in order to prevent another driver from parking too close to the vehicle of the handicapped person. Cat's eyes (3) are attached to both sides and a sheet (5) provided with a suitable symbol can be unrolled additionally. A soft strip (4) is inserted vertically at a short distance from the vehicle, causing the bar (1) to yield in the case of an impact.
