The connection for a tubular style bracing has a connecting element (1) with a centrally disposed junction piece from which extends at least one spigot, and a tubular strut (3) of preferably round cross section with an end designed for the fitting onto the spigot. A compression sleeve is fitted in the end of the tubular strut for the compressed retention of a spigot. From the junction piece extend two diametraly aligning spigots as a straight connecting element, or two spigots at right angles to form an angle-piece, or three spigots spanning one plane as a T-piece.
