The training apparatus (1) is for abdominal, back and arm musculature and on a slider (4) has a stable, firmly installed load bearer strip with seven incisions in which six rubber cords can be fitted, permitting a multitude of possibilities for adjustment of the tractive force on the slider to the desired load. The tractive force on the load bearer strip is divided equally over the entire length of the strip, in order to avoid weak points on the slider. The slider is located in a guide track, which obviates its deformation, even under high loads, thus making the slider reliable. With the load distribution achieved, there are no weak points, neither on the load accommodation plate (1), nor on the slider. The apparatus is made of very stable wood (16 mm thick veneer plate).
