A reclining seat system has hinged panels supported on a base and with the option to lift into a settee type of seat or a flat, fully reclined bed. The panels are linked by hinges with the centre panels secured to the base via a vertical axis, to swing between the bed and settee alignments, as well as a third alignment comprising a reclining seat back, a horizontal seat and a sloping leg support. The adjustment can be a simple manual control or via a set of servo motors.
