The unit has a carrier plate and on this in the centro is a fluorescent electrical light tube together with the starter circuit. This may have the intensity varied over a wide range. On both sides of the tube there are a strips of light emitting diodes ,LED, of red ,blue and yellow that can be individually controlled.
