The connecting box as a diffuser for ceiling ventilation outlets has fitted on the top or side of a housing (1) a connector (2) with a round throttling device (3). The throttling device has an operating lever (4) which is operated manually for regulating the volume of air. Inside the housing a round diffuser device (5) made of perforated sheet metal is fitted over the whole length of the box.
