The cased portable bicycle has a separable lower frame tube with a front and a rear bicycle component part, which can be completely detached from the one another by a detachable connection in the lower frame tube and easily interconnected again. The folded down bicycle is transported in a case provided for it. The connection comprises a pivot (2) and detachable connecting element (3) lying opposite it so that by a one-sided release of the connecting element a hinging around the pivot can take place followed by release of the pivot connection so that the bicycle is collapsed into its two parts.
