The flood protection installation has hose systems (1,3) in both bank zones of the flow, producing a kind of ''fast track'' in which a part of the water (8) is brought to a higher flow speed, so that the flood is held within limits, or does not occur. In areas prone to flood, on both bank zones of a flow a floating body (7) is anchored, through the longitudinal axis of which one or more steel tubes are fitted. On the rear side the tubes act as suction tubes (5) and on the front side as outflow tubes (4). In the longitudinal axis of the center of the floating body, between the suction and outflow tubes, is installed a turbine (6) or similar, which allows the sucked water to flow from the rear side down into the valley with an increased speed in the already laid-out empty hoses (1).
