The length compensator for underground supply lines consists of a stable casing (1) in which is located a corrugated pipe (2) which is supported against the inner wall of the casing by elastomer or plastic rings. At its ends the corrugated pipe changes into a cylindrical pipe (5,21). The support rings are located in two pairs, with one pair (3) fitted on the cylindrical pipe ends and the other pair (4) seating in a corrugation valley at the respective ends of the corrugated pipe, whereby the corrugated pipe is stabilized in its axial position.
