Alarm system door/window open/shut reporting detector has offset sliding pin

A building has an alarm system monitoring the condition of doors and windows to a central reporting point. The open/shut condition of the door/window is reported by the condition of a magnetically-operated sliding bolt (14) linked by a cable (18) to the reporting point. The sliding pin (14) is esp. fitted offset (20) from the housing (10) centreline (22).
