The cladding system for narrow cylindrical or slightly conical bodies, such as masts, poles, columns, tubes and similar, involves the body (1) having at least one outer peripheral area with accommodations for a cladding medium. The body at its upper end has a cladding medium (2) imitating a tree top, comprising artificial branches and boughs, on which artificial leaves are arranged. The artificial branches and boughs comprise metallic, tubular basic parts which narrow forwardly and have two bends. To the basic parts smaller tubular parts are welded or screwed. To the ends of the basic parts and smaller parts thin end branches are welded, to which the artificial leaves are connected.
