A clamp for securing cattle tails has an adjustable frame which is secured to the animal, or to the stall and with a retaining clamp linked to the frame via an integral spring. The level of spring force is adjustable and the clamp and spring are secured to the frame using fitting pegs set into holes in the frame and the spring. The whole system is demountable for repairs and for storage.
