The valve includes a piston (15-19) movable inside a valve chamber (10) formed in the valve housing (3), an inlet (9) for control fluid which acts upon the piston, and a restoring device which acts upon the piston to counteract control pressure. At least one throttling gap (8,13) is formed in the flow path of the control fluid upstream or downstream of the control inlet in the housing. The throttling gap is formed in the flow path of the control fluid flowing towards the piston's control face in the event of a pressure increase or in the path of the fluid flowing from it in the event of a pressure drop.
