The toilet basin with a seat, particularly as a standing or suspended toilet, has an inlet for flushing water fed via an all-round water flushing aperture of the basin and an outlet for water evacuation. The all-round water flushing aperture (2) is located on the underside of the seat (1) and the flushing water to clean the toilet basin is fed from a flushing water channel (3) integrated in the seat to the all-round flushing aperture. The flushing water channel is formed in cross-section by a rounded U-shaped configuration with legs (4,5) running parallel to the seat surface. The flushing water channel issues almost at right-angles into the water flushing aperture in the under side of the seat. The flushing water feed to the flushing channel occurs via a hinge-side distributor in the seat.
